Steri-Drape Extremity Drape for Limb Surgery
A sterile extremity drape designed to isolate an arm or leg during surgery, helping maintain a sterile field around the operative limb throughout the case.
The Steri-Drape Extremity Drape is a sterile surgical drape shaped to isolate an arm or leg during procedures performed on the extremities, such as orthopedic, vascular or plastic surgery involving the hand, arm, foot or leg. Extremity procedures often require the limb to be positioned, improved or moved during surgery, and a drape designed specifically for this purpose helps keep the operative limb properly isolated from the rest of the patient's body and the surrounding non-sterile environment while still allowing the surgical team the access and manoeuvrability they need.
Maintaining a secure sterile barrier around the limb throughout the procedure is important for reducing surgical site infection risk, particularly for procedures involving implants, fixation devices or extended operative times. This drape is intended for single use and is discarded after the surgical case is complete.
Orthopedic surgeons, vascular surgeons, plastic surgeons and operating room staff use this drape during a range of extremity surgical procedures in hospital operating rooms.
