3M Steri-Drape 2 Incise Drape, Non-Antimicrobial
A breathable, tear-resistant incise film that conforms to the patient's body contours, allowing limb manipulation during surgery while helping protect the sterile field from contamination.
The 3M Steri-Drape 2 Incise Drape is a non-antimicrobial incise film used at the start of surgical procedures to establish a clean, adherent surface directly over the operative site. It is built from a breathable, durable and tear-resistant film that stretches and conforms to the contours of the patient's body, which allows the surgical team to reposition or manipulate a limb during the procedure without lifting or tearing the drape.
By adhering closely to the skin, the incise film reduces the risk of instruments, gloves or fluids contacting unprepped skin and helps keep the sterile field intact for the duration of the case. Operating room nurses and surgeons across general, orthopaedic and other specialties apply this type of drape after skin preparation and before the incision is made.
It is supplied under several catalog numbers covering different sizes for the 2000 series, giving theatre staff flexibility to match the drape to the procedure and operative site.
