The 3M Steri-Drape Pouch with Ioban 2 Incise Film, 6600 series, is a full-circumference incise surgical drape combining continuous broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity with an integrated fluid collection pouch. Its incise film adheres around the operative site to establish a sterile working surface at the start of surgery, while the antimicrobial component works continuously through the procedure to help reduce the risk of microbial contamination at the wound margin.
The pouch design collects blood and body fluid across the full circumference of the drape, rather than from a single side, which helps minimise the chance of fluid escaping the field and contaminating surrounding areas.
