The Dräger VentStar MRI 300 is a single-use adult breathing circuit with 3 metre smoothbore hoses, configured for magnetic resonance imaging suites. The 3 metre length keeps the ventilator or anaesthesia workstation clear of the scanner while the patient connection still reaches the patient on the table.
Smoothbore hoses are used rather than corrugated hoses. The circuit is fitted, used for the imaging episode and then discarded. It is specified for adult patients and listed for intensive care, neonatal intensive care and the operating room.
