The ComfortStar anaesthesia face mask is a single-use face mask for the delivery of anaesthetic gases and oxygen during induction, preoxygenation and mask ventilation. This version is size 4, which corresponds to a small adult, and it is supplied with the strawberry scent applied to the cushion, a feature commonly used to make inhalational induction more acceptable to apprehensive patients.
The mask carries a hook ring so that a mask harness can be attached where hands-free holding is needed.
