The Dräger VentStar Breathing Bag 2 L is a single-use reservoir bag supplied on its own. It fits the manual ventilation port of a Dräger anaesthesia workstation, directly or via the bag hose in use, and holds the gas the anaesthetist compresses during hand ventilation. The 2 litre volume is the standard adult size in the VentStar bag range and is the same bag volume used in the VentStar Bag Set 120 and Bag Set 150.
The bag is specified for adult patients in the operating room. Listed workstations include the Dräger Atlan A100, A300 and A350 families with their XL variants, the Primus and Primus IE, and the Perseus A500. 5 and 1 litre sizes held for neonatal and paediatric lists and the 3 litre size kept where a larger reservoir is preferred.
