Dräger VentStar Aquapor Heated Circuit, Adult and Paediatric
Single heated disposable breathing circuit for adult and paediatric ventilation with the Dräger Aquapor humidification system in intensive care.
This VentStar Aquapor circuit is heated on the inspiratory limb only, which is the standard configuration where condensate in the expiratory limb is managed by circuit design or routine draining rather than by heating the return line. Heater wire holds inspired gas temperature between the humidification chamber and the patient connection, so gas reaches the airway warm and saturated.
The circuit is sized for adult and paediatric patients and is used with the Dräger Aquapor humidifier. It is used in intensive care for adult and paediatric patients receiving invasive ventilation with active humidification. Choosing between the single heated and dual heated versions of this circuit depends on how long circuits stay in service and on ambient conditions in the unit, since those are what determine how much condensate collects in the expiratory limb.
The humidification chamber and temperature probe in use should be confirmed alongside the circuit. The circuit is supplied disposable under order code MP07131, GTIN 4048675558149, manufactured in Canada. HumaNova supplies Dräger breathing circuits and humidification consumables to hospitals, clinics and laboratories across the United Arab Emirates and the GCC.
When enquiring, state the patient group and confirm single heated rather than dual heated construction, as the two variants carry adjacent order codes and are easily transposed. Pricing is by request for quotation. Send your requirement and delivery location to HumaNova for a written quotation against this order code.
Where more than one ventilator is being supplied, list the machines on the enquiry so the quantity per period is set against actual usage rather than a single bed.
