1 metre probe carries the temperature sensing that a Fisher & Paykel MR850 humidifier uses to control chamber heating and heater wire output. It is specified for all breathing circuit types rather than a single configuration, which makes it the general-purpose probe length in the MR850 range. Correct probe length matters, because the probe sets where the sensing points sit along the circuit relative to the chamber outlet and the patient connection.
