This is the large size of the BabyFlow disposable nasal mask, the interface used to deliver nasal CPAP and non-invasive ventilation to newborn patients. The mask seats over the nose and connects the infant to the flow generator without an endotracheal tube. Size L covers the upper end of the neonatal range, and units generally stock several sizes so the interface can be changed as the infant grows or rotated with nasal prongs to move the pressure points on the face.

It is used in neonatal intensive care and in the neonatal beds of general intensive care units.
