Disposable adult smoothbore breathing circuit with a 3 m hose and Infinity ID tag, for theatres and imaging suites needing extended reach.
This is the 3 metre version of the smoothbore breathing circuit, supplied disposable with an Infinity ID radio-frequency tag. Smoothbore tubing has a smooth inner wall rather than corrugations, so condensate does not lodge in ridges along the limb. The extended length is specified where the anaesthesia machine or ventilator must stand well back from the patient, as in imaging suites, in theatres with restricted access to the head of the table, or where the patient is positioned prone or laterally.
The circuit is used in the operating room and in intensive care on adult patients.
