This coaxial breathing circuit carries the inspiratory limb inside the expiratory limb, presenting a single tube to the patient connection instead of two parallel hoses. 3 metre hose, which gives additional reach where the machine cannot be placed close to the patient. The circuit is disposable and carries an Infinity ID radio-frequency tag, read by the machine to identify the circuit type and its usage period.
It is used in the operating room and in intensive care on adult and paediatric patients.
