Dräger Hose Heater Adapter 900 MR 806 for Disposable Circuits

This adapter carries the heating current from a Fisher & Paykel MR850 humidifier controller to the heater wire inside a disposable breathing circuit. It is the counterpart to the adapter used with reusable circuits: the two are not interchangeable, and the choice depends on whether the circuits running on the unit are single-patient-use or reprocessed.

Fitted correctly, the adapter allows the humidifier to hold delivered gas temperature along the full length of the inspiratory limb. It is used in intensive care and neonatal intensive care wherever heated humidification is applied during invasive ventilation, and it supports adult, paediatric and neonatal circuits.
