Dräger Hose Heater 900 MR 754 for MR700, MR730 and MR850

The 900 MR 754 hose heater is a heated wire assembly fitted inside the inspiratory limb of a reusable breathing circuit. It draws power from the humidifier controller and maintains gas temperature between the humidification chamber and the patient connection, which limits the cooling and condensation that would otherwise occur along an unheated hose.

This variant differs from the 900 MR 751 in its configuration, so the correct part number must be matched to the circuit in service rather than assumed. It is used in intensive care and neonatal intensive care during invasively ventilated care with active humidification, across adult, paediatric and neonatal patients.

The heater is listed against the Dräger Savina, Savina 300, Savina 300 Classic, Savina 300 NIV and Savina 300 Select ventilators, the Evita 2 dura, Evita 4, Evita XL, Evita V300, Evita V500, Evita V600 and Evita V800, and the Babylog VN500. It works in combination with a heater adapter and a temperature probe matched to the same humidifier model, and it is removed from the circuit for reprocessing.
