Disposable 22 mm hook ring for LiteStar anaesthesia face masks in sizes 3 to 7, allowing a mask harness to be attached in theatre.
This hook ring fits over the 22 mm connector of a LiteStar anaesthesia face mask and provides the anchor points that a mask harness clips onto. Without it the mask can only be held by hand; with it fitted, headgear can be used to retain the mask during preoxygenation, mask ventilation and inhalational induction.
The ring has a 22 mm internal diameter and covers LiteStar mask sizes 3 through 7, which spans the adult range. It is used in the operating room by anaesthetists and anaesthetic assistants on adult patients.
