Dräger F&P 950 Dual Heated Neonatal Breathing Circuit
Fisher & Paykel 950 dual heated breathing circuit sized for neonates, delivering warmed and humidified gas during ventilation of newborn patients.
This is the neonatal version of the Fisher & Paykel 950 dual heated breathing circuit. Both limbs carry heater wire, so inspired gas is warmed along its full length to the patient connection and the expiratory limb is heated as well, which reduces the condensate that otherwise collects in circuits running at neonatal flow rates.
Tubing diameter and circuit volume are scaled for newborn patients, since compressible volume in the circuit has a much larger effect at neonatal tidal volumes than it does in adult ventilation. It is used in the operating room and in neonatal ventilation where active humidification is applied. Neonatal circuits are not interchangeable with adult or paediatric circuits, and the circuit must be matched to the humidifier, the temperature probe and the heater adapter in service, so components of the 950 system should be specified together.
Units that ventilate newborns routinely hold neonatal circuits as a separate stock line from the adult range. The circuit is supplied under order code MP16005, GTIN 9420012454591, manufactured in New Zealand. HumaNova supplies respiratory circuits and humidification consumables for neonatal care to hospitals and clinics across the United Arab Emirates and the GCC.
When enquiring, confirm the humidifier model, whether your probes and adapters are already in place, and the quantity needed per period. Pricing is by request for quotation, so send your requirement, quantity and delivery location to HumaNova and a written quotation will be prepared against this order code.
Repeat orders can be raised against the same code without re-specifying the configuration.
