The 3M Typodont With Stand, Clarity Advanced Ceramic Brackets is a dental training model used in orthodontic education and patient communication. Typodonts are model sets of teeth mounted so that an orthodontist, student or dental assistant can practise bracket placement, wire insertion and other fixed appliance procedures without a live patient, or use the model to show a patient what their own treatment will involve.
This particular typodont comes preassembled with Clarity Advanced Ceramic Brackets already bonded in place, giving a realistic reference for how tooth coloured ceramic brackets look and sit on the arch compared with metal brackets. Having the model mounted on a stand keeps it stable and at a convenient working height during demonstrations or hands on teaching sessions.
