Surtron Monopolar Pen Handpiece for Electrosurgery
A Surtron monopolar pen handpiece that connects to a compatible electrosurgical generator, used by surgical teams for controlled cutting and coagulation for daily hospital and clinic use.
The Surtron Monopolar Pen Handpiece is the handheld electrode holder used with a compatible electrosurgical generator to deliver monopolar current for cutting and coagulation during surgery. In use, the surgeon holds the pen shaped handpiece against the tissue while a foot switch or finger control on the unit activates the current, letting them work with precision in a hand position similar to holding a pen, which many surgeons find comfortable for detailed work.
It is designed to pair with Surtron branded electrosurgical generators as part of a complete monopolar electrosurgery setup, alongside a compatible neutral electrode and connecting cables that complete the circuit safely back to the generator. As with other monopolar accessories, it is treated as a consumable or semi consumable item within the operating room, replaced or reprocessed according to the facility's own protocols.
Operating theatres running Surtron electrosurgical units use this handpiece as a routine accessory for day to day monopolar procedures across general and specialist surgery.
