Surtron 80 Electrosurgical Unit, Light to Medium
A high frequency electrosurgical unit for light and medium surgery, offering CUT, BLEND and multiple coagulation modes with digital power monitoring for daily hospital and clinic use.
The Led Spa Surton 80, referred to as the Surtron 80, is a high frequency electrosurgical unit suitable for light and medium surgical work. It offers a pure cutting mode described as CUT, a combined cut-coagulation mode called BLEND, a superficial coagulation setting called FORCED COAG, and a deeper coagulation setting described as SOFT COAG, which the manufacturer states is delivered in the absence of tissue necrosis.
With the addition of a special adapter, the unit also supports bipolar coagulation, extending its use beyond monopolar techniques alone when that adapter is fitted. A digital reading of delivered power is built into the unit, giving the operator visibility of the power actually being applied during a procedure rather than relying only on a dial setting, and the operative function is monitored by a microcontroller for consistency across use.
This combination of multiple cutting and coagulation modes, together with digital power feedback, suits clinics and theatres carrying out a mix of light and medium surgical procedures rather than only one narrow technique. Clinics and surgical facilities use the Surtron 80 as a versatile electrosurgical generator for everyday procedural work.
