Sklar Suture Passer, Curved with Hole
A 9 inch curved suture passer used to guide and thread suture material through tissue in areas that are difficult to reach directly.
The Sklar Suture Passer is used to carry suture material through or around tissue in situations where direct needle passage is awkward or unsafe. Its curved shape lets the surgeon route the instrument around a structure and bring the suture out on the far side under control, rather than relying on a needle alone.
This listing includes two tip styles, one with a hole to thread the suture through and one with a hook to catch and draw suture material, giving surgeons a choice depending on technique and procedure. At nine inches, the suture passer is used across general, orthopaedic and reconstructive surgery wherever a suture needs to be passed through tissue planes, around tendons, or behind structures that are difficult to access directly with a needle holder.
Surgeons and surgical assistants in hospital operating theatres rely on this instrument as part of general and orthopaedic surgery sets. It is made from surgical stainless steel and reprocessed through standard cleaning and steam sterilization between cases.
