Sklar Stacke Ear Probe, Sterling Silver
A 4 inch sterling silver ear probe with a fine 1mm tip and offset loop handle, used by ENT clinicians for delicate examination of the ear canal.
The Sklar Stacke Ear Probe is a fine, straight probe used to examine structures within the ear canal and middle ear with a light, precise touch. Its tip measures just one millimetre, letting the clinician explore small spaces without disturbing surrounding tissue, and the offset loop handle gives a comfortable, stable grip during close work under magnification.
Made from sterling silver, a material long favoured for ear probes for its smooth finish, the instrument is four inches overall. Probes of this kind are used in ENT clinics and operating theatres during otoscopic examination, wax or foreign body assessment, and as part of otologic surgical procedures where the surgeon needs to gently locate or test a structure before proceeding.
ENT surgeons, audiologists and specialist nurses are the typical users. As a reusable instrument, it is cleaned and sterilized between patients according to the clinic's standard reprocessing protocol.
