The Sklar Merit Ear Syringe Shield is an accessory fitted around an ear syringe to protect the clinician and patient from splashback during ear irrigation. When fluid is directed into the ear canal to soften and flush out wax or debris, some fluid inevitably returns outward, and the shield catches this runoff before it can spread onto clothing, work surfaces or the patient's face.
