Sklar Malz-Seeburger Retractor, 4-1/2 Inch
A compact hand held retractor used to gently hold soft tissue aside and improve visibility during smaller surgical procedures.
The Sklar Malz-Seeburger Retractor is a small, hand held retractor used to draw soft tissue out of the way so the surgeon has a clear view and access to the operative field. Its compact size makes it well suited to procedures in confined anatomical areas where a larger self retaining retractor would be too bulky, and it gives the surgical assistant fine control over exactly how much and where tissue is held back as the procedure progresses.
This pattern is used across general and specialty surgery whenever a light, manoeuvrable retractor is preferred over a fixed retraction system. Surgeons and assistants use it to keep an incision open, expose a specific structure or move tissue aside temporarily while another step of the operation is completed.
It measures 4-1/2 inches overall. This listing is a single configuration. As with other Sklar surgical instruments, it is manufactured from surgical stainless steel and intended for repeated cleaning and sterilisation between cases.
