Sklar Fansler Rectal Specula, 65mm x 25mm
A nine and a half inch rectal specula used to open the anal canal for examination, biopsy or minor procedures in colorectal and general practice.
The Sklar Fansler Rectal Specula is used to open and hold apart the walls of the anal canal, giving a clinician a clear view for examination, biopsy or the treatment of conditions such as haemorrhoids and fissures. Sized at 65mm by 25mm with an overall length of nine and a half inches, it is proportioned to provide adequate exposure while remaining comfortable to introduce and position for the patient.
Specula of this pattern are used across colorectal surgery, general surgery and gastroenterology, wherever direct visual access to the lower rectum and anal canal is required for either diagnosis or a minor bedside or outpatient procedure. This listing covers three variants of the pattern, giving a facility a choice within the same product line to suit clinic and theatre use.
It is used by colorectal surgeons, general practitioners and specialist nurses, and as a stainless steel instrument it is designed for the repeated cleaning and sterilisation cycles typical of hospital and clinic instrument processing.
