Sklar Buck Applicator, Twist End
A 7-1/2 inch applicator with a twist end used to wrap cotton and apply medication or antiseptic during minor ENT and clinical procedures, for use in hospitals and surgical centers.
The Sklar Buck Applicator is a handheld instrument with a twist end tip, designed so a small amount of cotton can be wound around the tip and used to apply medication, antiseptic or absorb fluid within confined areas such as the ear or nose during minor clinical procedures. At 7-1/2 inches overall, this is one of two sizes offered in the Buck applicator line, giving the clinical team a choice suited to the depth of the area being treated.
This is a common tool across ENT and general clinical settings wherever a precise, localised application is needed rather than a broad swab. It is intended for use by trained clinical staff, and as a reusable metal instrument it is cleaned and sterilised between patients rather than discarded after a single use.
