Sklar Blue Cusco Vaginal Speculum, Three Sizes
A bivalve vaginal speculum used to open and visualise the vaginal canal during gynecologic examination and surgery, available in three blade sizes, for use in hospitals and surgical centers.
The Sklar Blue Electrosurgical Cusco Vaginal Speculum is a self-retaining bivalve speculum used in gynecologic examinations, minor procedures and surgery to hold the vaginal walls open for visualisation and instrument access. The medium size in this line measures 3-1/3 by 1-1/3 inch blades, and the listing spans small, medium and large sizes so the clinician can match the speculum to the individual patient's anatomy.
Its blue electrosurgical finish is intended for use in settings where cautery devices are active nearby, helping insulate the instrument from stray current. Because the Cusco pattern locks open at a set position, it frees the clinician's hands for examination, biopsy or minor surgical steps once it is placed.
It is intended for use by trained gynecologic and general clinical staff and is a routine part of gynecologic examination and outpatient procedure trays across hospitals and clinics.
