Sklar Blue Collin Vaginal Speculum, Wide Blades
A vaginal speculum with 5-1/4 by 1-1/4 inch blades and built-in loops for smoke evacuation tubing, used to visualise and access the vaginal canal, for use in hospitals and surgical centers.
The Sklar Blue Electrosurgical Collin Vaginal Speculum is a bivalve retractor used in gynecologic examinations and surgery to open and hold the vaginal walls apart for visualisation and access. This variant carries 5-1/4 by 1-1/4 inch blades and includes loops designed to hold and direct disposable smoke evacuation tubing, a feature relevant when electrosurgical or laser devices are used during the procedure and smoke needs to be cleared from the field.
The blue electrosurgical coating on the instrument itself is intended for the same cautery-adjacent use. This listing covers two variants within the Collin speculum line, giving the surgical team a choice suited to different patients or procedure types. It is intended for use by trained gynecologic clinical staff during colposcopy, minor gynecologic surgery and related procedures, and each speculum is sold separately.
