The Sklar Black Laser Emmet Iris Hook is a fine, pointed instrument used by ophthalmic surgeons to gently hook and manipulate the iris or other small ocular tissue during eye surgery. At 9 inches long with a 1mm tip, the hook is sized to give the surgeon reach and control while working within the small confines of the eye.
Finished in a black, non reflective coating, the instrument is built for use alongside a surgical laser, where a bright metal surface near the eye could reflect the beam and pose a particular concern given the sensitivity of ocular structures.
