Sklar Barraquer Iris Spatula, 0.25mm
A fine 0.25mm ophthalmic spatula used to gently manipulate, sweep, or reposition the iris during cataract and anterior segment surgery. It is supplied for repeated sterilization and reuse in hospital and clinic settings.
5mm, used to gently manipulate, sweep, or reposition the iris during cataract surgery and other anterior segment intraocular procedures. The thin, blunt blade is designed to move iris tissue aside or free it from an incision site without cutting or tearing it, a task that comes up during routine cataract extraction as well as in managing complications such as iris prolapse.
25mm option suited to particularly delicate or confined work. This instrument is used by cataract and anterior segment surgeons as a standard part of the ophthalmic surgical tray, and because it is introduced through the same small incisions used for the rest of the procedure, its slim profile is an important design feature.
It is reprocessed following the careful sterilization protocols applied to fine ophthalmic instruments.
