Side rails and the bed surface are made from PP, a durable, easy to clean material suited to repeated use and disinfection between patients. Centrally mounted, silent castors let the stretcher be wheeled smoothly across hospital corridors or ambulance ramps without the noise or resistance that can come from lower quality wheel assemblies, supporting a calmer, more controlled transfer for the patient.
An IV pole is integrated directly into the stretcher, allowing an intravenous line to continue running during transport without needing a separate freestanding pole to be wheeled alongside.
