Reliquip Spinal Board, X-ray Compatible, Hi-Vis Orange
A Hi-Vis orange polyethylene spinal board offering full body immobilisation for trauma patients, X-ray compatible and rated to carry a maximum load of up to 159 kg.
The Reliquip Spinal Board is an emergency patient immobilisation device used to move and stabilise casualties with a suspected spinal injury following a trauma such as a road traffic collision, fall or sporting accident. It is made from high-density polyethylene in a Hi-Vis orange finish, which keeps it visible on an incident scene and also makes it impervious to bodily fluids and easy to clean between uses, an important feature for ambulance crews and hospital emergency departments handling one casualty after another.
The board's translucent plastic construction means it is X-ray compatible, so a patient can often remain on the board while initial imaging is carried out, reducing the number of times they need to be moved. It offers full body immobilisation and can be used together with a head immobiliser for added spinal protection during transport.
5 kg, keeping it manageable for rescue teams to carry and load, while it is rated to support a maximum load of up to 159 kg, covering the great majority of adult patients encountered in pre-hospital and emergency care.
