CoolTherm Burn Relief Gel is a sterile trauma hydrogel treatment used to soothe minor to moderate burns immediately after injury, combining a soothing active gel ingredient with the non-woven carrier technology used across the CoolTherm range. The gel is designed to minimise trauma and further skin damage at the burn site, giving the injury a better environment to begin settling before more advanced treatment is available.
It remains non-adherent to burnt skin, which reduces pain and further tissue disruption compared with a dry dressing that can stick to the wound, and it is non-toxic, supporting safe use directly on broken or unbroken burnt skin.
