The Junkin JSA-200 Plastic Basket Stretcher is built for unusually rugged rescue situations, such as industrial or mining environments, where standard stretchers may not hold up to the demands of the terrain or the rescue method being used. Its yellow high-density polyethylene shell is supported by a stainless steel outer rail, permanently attached using stainless steel semi-tubular rivets, giving the stretcher a strong yet lightweight construction at just 31 lbs.
Molded runners on the underside facilitate smooth movement across various types of terrain, aiding maneuverability during patient transport over rough or uneven ground. 5 inches in height, and it comes with a non-absorbent foam pad secured in place along with four patient restraint straps to keep the patient secure during movement or hoisting.
