Garant Mixing Tips for Automatic Impression Material Mixing
Automatic mixing tips for the Garant Dispenser 1:1/2:1 system, used to blend dental impression material evenly as it is dispensed from the cartridge. It is a standard item in dental and medical practice.
Garant Mixing Tips are disposable consumables used with the Garant Dispenser for automatic mixing of dental impression material supplied in 1:1 or 2:1 ratio cartridges. As the dispenser trigger drives the two components of the impression material out of the cartridge, they pass through the internal spiral inside the mixing tip, which blends them into a homogeneous mix before the material reaches the tray or the tooth surface.
Using a fresh mixing tip for every impression is standard practice, since a tip that has already had material pass through it will begin to set and can no longer provide a clean, even mix on a second use. Consistent mixing at this stage supports accurate impressions, which in turn affects the fit of any crown, bridge or denture made from that impression.
Dentists and dental assistants use Garant Mixing Tips routinely in general and prosthodontic dental practice whenever cartridge based impression materials are dispensed through the Garant system.
