The Contec CMS60D Handheld Pulse Oximeter measures pulse oxygen saturation and pulse rate through the finger, giving a quick, non-invasive read on a patient's respiratory status. Its display shows the SpO2 value alongside the pulse rate in both numeric and bar graph form, and a live pulse waveform gives clinicians an additional visual check on signal quality during the reading.
A function menu lets the user adjust screen brightness and sound volume to suit different lighting and clinical environments, while an audible pulse rate prompt provides an extra layer of confirmation without needing to watch the screen constantly.
