3M RelyX Fiber Post 3D Glass Fiber Post is a glass fiber post system used by dentists to provide additional retention for a core build-up or crown on a root treated tooth. The post features coronal 3D macro retention, a surface design at the coronal, or upper, portion of the post that offers high mechanical retention to the core build-up material placed around it, helping the completed restoration hold together securely under normal biting forces.
The post's microporous surface also provides a strong bond within the root canal without requiring a separate silanating step, simplifying the placement procedure compared with some other fiber post systems.
