3M Filtek Supreme Flowable Restorative, 12 Shades

Filtek Supreme Flowable Restorative is a flowable composite material used across a range of restorative indications and placement techniques, including injection molding into a prepared cavity, wherever a lower viscosity composite is better suited to adapting closely to the internal detail of a cavity preparation than a heavier packable composite.

The material is intended to offer long-lasting wear resistance and polish retention, properties that matter for how a restoration holds up under normal chewing forces and how well it keeps its finished surface shine over time rather than dulling or roughening with wear. It is supplied in a syringe format, letting the clinician dispense the material with precise control and place it directly into the preparation without introducing air bubbles or leaving unwanted excess material around the margins, both of which can compromise the finished restoration if not managed carefully.

A range of twelve shades is available, giving the clinician the ability to match a wide variety of natural tooth colours for restorations that blend in convincingly once finished. This product is transitioning from the 3M Filtek name to the Solventum Filtek Supreme Flowable Restorative line as the manufacturer updates its dental materials branding, and it remains a standard flowable composite for restorative practices.
