3M Directed Flow Impression Tray
A single use impression tray that eliminates the need for tray adhesive, simplifying both preliminary and final dental impressions for upper and lower arches.
The 3M Directed Flow Impression Tray is a single use dental impression tray designed to hold impression material in place without the use of a separate tray adhesive, a step that traditionally adds time and mess to the impression procedure. It is available for both upper and lower arches, and dentists use it to simplify preliminary as well as final impressions, whether the material being used is alginate, VPS or another elastomeric impression material.
Removing the tray adhesive step saves chair time and avoids the risk of an impression pulling away from the tray during removal, which can otherwise force a retake. Being single use, the tray is discarded after each patient, which supports infection control in a busy dental practice. This tray suits general dentists and prosthodontists who want a simpler, faster impression procedure without compromising the retention of the impression material.
