3M Cavilon Durable Barrier Cream is a concentrated, long-lasting and pH-balanced skin barrier cream formulated with 3M polymer technology to resist being washed off during routine care, while still allowing dressing adhesives to adhere properly to the skin where needed. This combination matters in wound and incontinence care, where a barrier cream needs to stand up to repeated cleaning or fluid exposure without undermining the ability to apply and secure dressings afterwards.
The cream provides a waterproof layer of protection against bodily fluids, helping to protect the skin around wounds, stomas or areas exposed to incontinence from maceration and irritation. 5 ounce sachet, giving clinicians a choice depending on the area being treated and how the product will be used.
