3M Bair Hugger Warming Gown, Standard
A standard patient warming gown that connects to the Bair Hugger forced-air warming system, helping maintain normothermia around the time of a procedure.
The 3M Bair Hugger Warming Gown is the standard gown used with the Bair Hugger forced-air warming system, worn by the patient and connected to a warming unit that circulates heated air through the gown. This helps prevent unintended hypothermia and supports normothermia through the preoperative, intraoperative and recovery phases of a surgical procedure.
Maintaining a patient's normal body temperature during this period has been associated with a reduced rate of complications, including surgical site infection, which is why forced-air patient warming has become a standard part of many hospitals' perioperative protocols. This gown offers the standard, single hose port configuration, suiting procedures where the warming focus does not need to change mid-case.
It is used across general, orthopaedic and other surgical specialties wherever perioperative patient warming is part of standard care. It is stocked under three catalog numbers.
