3M Bair Hugger Warming Booties
Warming booties used alongside the Bair Hugger warming gown to help keep the patient's feet and lower extremities warm and comfortable during a procedure.
3M Bair Hugger Booties are designed to be used in conjunction with the Bair Hugger warming gown, extending the warming coverage to the patient's feet and lower extremities during a surgical procedure. While the gown itself covers the main body area and connects to the forced-air warming unit, the feet can otherwise remain exposed and prone to heat loss, so adding booties helps keep the patient comfortable across a larger portion of the body.
Maintaining patient comfort and normothermia throughout a procedure is part of standard perioperative care practice, supporting patient wellbeing and helping reduce the risk of complications associated with unintended hypothermia. Booties like this are used in operating theatres wherever a Bair Hugger warming gown is already in place and additional coverage of the feet is wanted.
They are a simple accessory addition rather than a standalone warming device. They are stocked under two catalog numbers.
