A patient-adjustable warming gown with a second clinical hose port in the lower portion, avoiding the need to reposition the gown for lower body warming.
The 3M Bair Hugger+ Warming Gown builds on the standard Bair Hugger warming gown design by adding a second clinical hose port positioned in the lower part of the gown. This means the warming hose can be connected either to the upper or lower port depending on which part of the body needs warming during the procedure, without requiring staff to remove or reposition the whole gown partway through a case.
Being able to adjust the warming focus without repositioning saves time and reduces disruption to the sterile field or the patient's positioning once the procedure is underway. Like other Bair Hugger products, the gown connects to a forced-air warming unit to help prevent hypothermia and maintain normothermia, supporting the reduced complication rates associated with good perioperative temperature management.
