The Attest Steam Chemical Integrator is a monitoring strip placed inside individual instrument packs before they go through a steam sterilization cycle, giving staff a direct, in-pack indication of whether the process conditions needed for sterilization were actually achieved at that specific location, rather than relying solely on a chamber level indicator outside the pack.
As an ISO 11140-1:2014 Type 5 Integrating Indicator, it is designed to track all three critical sterilization variables together, time, temperature and steam, providing a more complete picture of process performance than a Type 1 or Type 3 indicator would give on its own. After the cycle completes, the integrator produces a fast, easy to read result, letting sterilization staff quickly confirm whether a pack is safe to release for clinical use without waiting on slower biological indicator results for routine daily checks.
