ZM-7 Blood Roller Mixer
A roll and swing blood roller mixer operating at 20 to 80 rpm, used to gently agitate blood samples and prevent clotting or settling before testing.
The Blood Roller Mixer, model ZM-7, is designed to keep blood samples gently and continuously agitated, preventing settling or clotting between collection and testing. It uses a combined roll and swing motion, a gentler alternative to vigorous shaking, which is important for blood samples that can be damaged by overly aggressive mixing.
Speed is adjustable across a range of 20 to 80 rpm, with an amplitude of 22 millimetres, giving labs control over how vigorously samples are mixed depending on sample type and volume. The unit runs on 15 watts of power and operates across a voltage range of 100 to 240V at 50 to 60Hz, making it adaptable to different regional power supplies.
Its footprint measures 440 by 360 by 95 millimetres, a compact benchtop size that fits easily alongside other laboratory instruments. A related model, the ZM-7D, adds a timer function with a range of 0 to 990 minutes for unattended, timed mixing runs. This mixer suits blood banks, haematology laboratories and clinical labs needing continuous, gentle sample agitation before analysis.
