XSP-113RT Kids Student Monocular Microscope
A monocular student microscope offering 500 to 1000X magnification, designed to introduce children and students to basic laboratory microscopy work. It suits clinical, diagnostic and laboratory environments.
The Kids Student Monocular Microscope for Lab, model XSP-113RT, is designed to introduce children and students to basic microscopy in an educational lab setting. It offers a magnification range of 500 to 1000X, achieved through achromatic objectives at 4X, 10X and 40X mounted on a spring loaded fitting that helps protect both the objective and the slide from accidental damage during handling by less experienced users.
Wide field eyepieces are available at WF10X or WF16X, and the viewing head is monocular, inclined at 45 degrees for a more natural, comfortable viewing angle during use. The stage is a plain type fitted with paired clips to hold a slide in place, measuring 90 by 90 millimetres, sized appropriately for a compact student microscope rather than a full sized research instrument.
A disc diaphragm condenser and coarse and fine focusing adjustment round out the optical and mechanical controls, giving students a genuine, if simplified, introduction to how a laboratory microscope operates. This microscope suits school science labs, teaching laboratories and introductory microscopy training for younger students.
