The Welch Allyn Vital Signs Monitor brings together several routine measurements in one device, aiming to simplify the workflow of taking a patient's vital signs. Its SureBP technology can record blood pressure in as little as 20 seconds, with averaging built in to help support accurate detection of hypertension over repeated readings.
Temperature can be taken orally, axillary or rectally using the SureTemp Plus thermometry module, and the monitor offers the option of adding Nonin SpO2 technology for oxygen saturation readings alongside blood pressure and temperature. A 7 inch colour touchscreen presents the results and supports a simplified workflow for staff moving quickly between patients, and the device can document additional observations such as respiration rate and BMI alongside its core readings.
EMR connectivity helps care teams avoid duplicate manual documentation by feeding results directly into the patient's electronic record.
