Upper Limb Exerciser AV-ZBD-ID, Passive Active
An upper limb rehabilitation device with a rotatable touch screen, supporting passive and active exercise while tracking torque, speed and muscle balance for stroke and injury recovery.
The Passive and Active Upper Limb Exerciser, model AV-ZBD-ID, is an advanced rehabilitation device designed to support recovery of upper limb mobility, strength and coordination through both passive and active exercise modes. In passive mode, the device can guide a patient's arm through a controlled range of motion when the patient is not yet able to move independently, while active mode lets the patient work against resistance as their strength improves, allowing one device to support a patient across different stages of recovery.
It features a rotatable 8-inch touch screen for setting up exercises and reviewing progress, along with ergonomic handles designed for a comfortable, secure grip during sessions. The device tracks detailed training data, including torque, speed, spasm events and muscle balance between the left and right sides, giving clinicians objective measurements to guide treatment decisions rather than relying on observation alone.
This data driven approach makes the exerciser well suited to hospitals, physiotherapy centres and rehabilitation clinics treating patients recovering from stroke, orthopedic surgery or upper limb injury, where tracking measurable progress over time supports more informed treatment planning.
