TraumaFix Dressing, Sterile Pressure Bandage for Major Bleeds
A sterile, highly absorbent pressure bandage designed for major bleeds, letting a first responder quickly stem the bleeding and attend to other injuries close by.
TraumaFix Dressing is a sterile pressure bandage built around a highly absorbent, non-adherent wound pad, intended for the rapid control of severe bleeding injuries where a standard dressing would not be enough. It combines a large absorbent pad with an integrated pressure bandage, applying steady, even pressure across the wound to help slow blood loss while the pad soaks up the fluid that would otherwise escape around the edges.
This design lets a medic or first responder secure the dressing quickly, thanks to a fast fix fastening system, and then move on to attend to other injuries or monitor the casualty's vital signs, rather than having to hold direct pressure on the wound by hand for an extended period. Because it is sterile, it is suitable for direct application to an open, severe wound without adding a further infection risk on top of the injury itself.
TraumaFix Dressing is used by paramedics, military and security medics, sports first aiders and anyone trained in trauma first aid who may need to respond to a major bleed before further medical help arrives. This listing covers two sterile sizes, 10 by 18 cm and 15 by 18 cm.
