Tegaderm I.V. Advanced Securement Dressing for PICC Lines
An advanced IV securement dressing offering visibility and breathability, giving up to seven days of wear for central line and PICC catheter care. It is a standard item in dental and medical practice.
V. Advanced Securement Dressing is designed for central line and PICC line catheter care, offering advanced catheter securement together with clear site visibility and good breathability. Central lines and peripherally inserted central catheters, commonly known as PICC lines, remain in place for extended periods and often carry a higher infection risk than short term peripheral IV lines, so a dressing that combines secure fixation with the ability to monitor the site closely is important for this type of vascular access.
The dressing is built to provide up to seven days of wear time along with strong moisture management, which reduces how frequently the dressing needs to be changed compared with more basic options, lowering both clinical workload and the number of times the site is disturbed. Being a film based dressing, it allows the site to be observed visually for early signs of infection or catheter movement without removing the dressing.
Vascular access nurses and hospital clinical staff use this dressing wherever central line or PICC catheter securement is required.
