Sklarlite Hartmann Mosquito Forceps, Straight
A compact 3-3/4 inch Hartmann mosquito forceps from Sklarlite, offered straight or curved, used for precise clamping of small blood vessels in hospitals and clinics.
The Sklarlite Hartmann Mosquito Forceps is a compact 3-3/4 inch instrument built on Sklar's extra light Sklarlite platform, shorter than the standard mosquito forceps pattern and designed for very fine, precise hemostasis in confined surgical fields. Its small size suits paediatric surgery, ophthalmic adjacent work, hand surgery and other procedures where the surgical field is small and a larger clamp would be difficult to manoeuvre or would obstruct the surgeon's view.
This listing covers both a straight and a curved version of the same compact length, giving the surgeon a choice of approach angle when clamping fine vessels. As with other mosquito forceps, the ratcheted handle keeps the clamp securely in place on the vessel while the surgeon proceeds with ligation or cautery, without needing continuous hand pressure.
The extra light Sklarlite build further reduces fatigue during procedures requiring numerous small clamps. Manufactured by Sklar, it is designed for repeated surgical use and must be cleaned, inspected and sterilised between cases following standard reprocessing protocol. Paediatric and fine surgery units across the UAE commonly stock this compact Hartmann pattern.
