Sklar TC Bonney Tissue Forceps, 7 Inch
A 7 inch tungsten carbide tissue forceps with 1x2 teeth, used to grasp and hold tissue securely during general surgical procedures.
The Sklar TC Bonney Tissue Forceps carries tungsten carbide jaw inserts finished with a 1x2 tooth pattern, giving surgeons a secure, non-slip grip on tissue while limiting crush injury compared with heavier toothed patterns. At seven inches overall, it offers more reach than the shorter Adson style forceps, suiting deeper general surgical fields where the surgeon needs to grasp tissue further from the incision edge.
The tungsten carbide inserts keep the gripping teeth sharper over more use and sterilization cycles than an all stainless steel jaw. This forceps is used across general and abdominal surgery wherever tissue such as fascia or peritoneum needs a firm hold during dissection or closure. Surgeons and their assisting teams in hospital operating theatres use this pattern as a standard mid length tissue forceps on general surgery trays.
As a reusable instrument, it is cleaned, inspected and steam sterilized between cases like the rest of the tungsten carbide instrument range.
